Responsible Gambling
Play Smart. Stay in Control.
At pkr10, responsible gambling is not a footnote — it is built into the platform from the ground up. Whether you're following Pakistan vs India T20 odds from Karachi or placing a live bet on a PSL match in Lahore, your safety and wellbeing matter more than any wager. This page gives you every tool, resource and piece of guidance you need to keep gambling a form of entertainment — not a problem.

Our Responsible Gambling Pillars
Six principles that define how pkr10 approaches player safety — from first deposit to voluntary self-exclusion.
Adults-Only Access
pkr10 is strictly for adults. Age verification is mandatory at registration and enforced throughout the KYC process. Anyone found to be under 18 — or the applicable higher minimum — has their account suspended immediately, winnings voided and deposited funds returned. No exceptions.
Deposit & Loss Limits
Set daily, weekly or monthly caps on how much you deposit or how much you can lose. Limits activate immediately and cannot be increased for a mandatory cooling-off period. You can lower them at any time, instantly. Configuring a PKR deposit limit is one of the most effective tools for keeping gambling within budget.
Self-Exclusion
Self-exclusion removes your access to the pkr10 platform for a defined period or permanently. Options range from 30 days to permanent closure. Once active, self-exclusion cannot be reversed before the chosen period ends. Contact support at [email protected] or use Account settings to apply immediately.
Session Time Controls
Set how long you can play in a single session before being automatically logged out. Reality check alerts can be configured to notify you of your session duration at intervals you choose — every 30 minutes, every hour, or at custom intervals. Time controls are particularly useful for live T20 and in-play betting sessions.
Cool-Off & Take-a-Break
Not ready for full self-exclusion but need a pause? A Take-a-Break lets you lock your account for 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days without formal self-exclusion. During a cool-off period your account is inaccessible and marketing communications are suspended. A useful first step before returning to play.
Access to Support
pkr10's support team is available around the clock. Whether you want to discuss your limits, request a self-exclusion, ask about your betting history or simply talk through a concern — reach out at [email protected]. Our team handles all responsible gambling requests with confidentiality and without judgement.
What Responsible Gambling Actually Means
Responsible gambling is the practice of engaging with betting and casino products in a way that remains a form of entertainment — one that stays within your financial means, does not affect your daily life, and does not become compulsive or harmful. For millions of cricket fans across Pakistan, placing a bet on a PSL T20 fixture or an ICC World Cup match is a fun extension of their passion for sport. For responsible gambling to work, it needs to stay exactly that: fun.
The problems associated with gambling almost always start gradually. What begins as recreational betting on a Pakistan Super League weekend can, for some individuals, develop into something more difficult to manage. Recognising the early signs — and having tools in place before they become necessary — is the cornerstone of pkr10's approach to player safety.
Responsible gambling is not about telling people not to gamble. It is about making sure that every person who uses pkr10 does so with clear information, useful controls, and the confidence that support is available if they ever need it — whether they're a casual weekend bettor in Islamabad or a regular live casino player in Karachi.
pkr10 endorses the following core principles of responsible play:
-
1
Gambling is Entertainment, Not Income
The house always has an edge in the long run. Never gamble with money you cannot afford to lose, and never treat gambling as a way to generate income or recover financial losses.
-
2
Set Your Limits Before You Start
Deciding in advance how much time and money you will spend — and sticking to those decisions — is far easier than trying to stop mid-session. Use pkr10's limit tools before your first deposit.
-
3
Never Chase Losses
Increasing stakes or extending sessions to "win back" losses is one of the most common pathways to problem gambling. If you're ahead, consider stopping. If you've hit your loss limit, stop — full stop.
-
4
Know When to Step Away
Gambling under emotional stress, after drinking, or when you're financially pressured removes the rational decision-making that keeps gambling safe. Walk away and return only when you're in the right headspace.
Recognising a Problem Early
Problem gambling can affect people from any background — students in Lahore, young professionals in Islamabad, experienced bettors in Karachi. It is not a character weakness; it is a behavioural pattern that can develop without the individual realising it. These are the signs to watch for in yourself or someone you care about:
Spending more money on gambling than originally planned, or gambling with money needed for essential expenses like rent, bills or food.
Lying to family members, friends or colleagues about how much time or money is spent on gambling.
Feeling a strong compulsion to gamble after a loss — chasing losses with escalating bets to "break even."
Gambling to escape feelings of stress, anxiety, depression or boredom rather than for entertainment.
Neglecting work, studies, family responsibilities or personal relationships due to time spent gambling.
Borrowing money, selling possessions or taking out loans specifically to fund gambling activity.
Feeling irritable, restless or anxious when unable to gamble, or when attempting to reduce gambling activity.
Previously being able to stop gambling but finding it increasingly difficult to do so despite wanting to.
Every Tool Available to You on pkr10
All responsible gambling tools are accessible from your Account settings. There is no waiting period to activate restrictions — only to relax them.
Limit Controls
Set the maximum total amount you can deposit to your pkr10 account within a 24-hour, 7-day or 30-day rolling period. For example: "No more than PKR 5,000 per week." Limits apply immediately on activation. Increases require a 7-day cooling-off period before taking effect.
Cap the total amount you can lose across all betting and casino activity within a defined period. For example: "I will not lose more than PKR 2,000 in any 24-hour period." Once the loss limit is reached, your account automatically suspends activity for the remainder of that period.
Set the maximum single stake you can place on any bet or casino round. This prevents impulse high-stakes betting during live events — particularly useful for fast-paced T20 cricket in-play markets where odds shift rapidly ball by ball.
Limit how long a single continuous session on pkr10 can last. At the set interval, a pop-up asks you to confirm you want to continue — or logs you out automatically. You can configure alerts at 30-minute, 60-minute or custom intervals.
Regular on-screen reminders during your session that display how long you have been playing and how much you have won or lost in that session. A low-friction way to stay grounded without requiring a full session time limit.
Exclusion & Block Tools
Take a Break (24h – 30 days)
Short-term voluntary account suspension. Ideal if you feel you need a pause but are not ready for formal self-exclusion. Marketing stops immediately during the break period.
Self-Exclusion (30 days – Permanent)
Full voluntary account block for a minimum of 30 days. Once active, you cannot reverse it before the period ends. Contact support to apply. Permanent exclusion means lifetime closure.
Marketing Opt-Out
Stop receiving all promotional emails, bonus offers and push notifications at any time via Account notification settings. Transactional and security alerts remain active.
Product Restriction
Restrict access to specific product categories — e.g., block casino games while retaining sports betting access, or vice versa — without closing your full account.

Honest Questions Worth Asking Yourself
This is not a clinical diagnostic tool. These questions are a starting point for honest self-reflection. If you answer "yes" to several of them, it may be worth contacting support or considering a break from gambling.
Do you ever gamble more than you intended when you first sat down to play?
Have you ever felt the need to gamble with increasing amounts to achieve the same level of excitement?
Do you ever return to the platform to try to win back money you have lost?
Have you lied to family or friends about how often you gamble or how much you spend?
Has gambling ever caused you to neglect work, studies, sleep or family responsibilities?
Do you ever feel restless, irritable or anxious when you are not gambling or when you try to stop?
Have you ever borrowed money, sold belongings or used emergency funds to finance gambling?
Do you use gambling to escape from stress, anxiety, family problems or financial pressure?
Getting Additional Help
pkr10 encourages any user who believes they may have a gambling problem to seek support beyond platform tools. While pkr10 does not operate clinical support services, the following types of resources are available internationally and can be accessed by users in Pakistan:
International Gambling Support
Several international gambling support organisations provide online counselling, self-help programmes and confidential chat services accessible from Pakistan. Organisations such as Gamblers Anonymous operate globally and provide peer-support fellowships accessible online. The Gambling Therapy programme (operated by the Gordon Moody Association) offers free online support, counselling and a self-help program available to users worldwide, including Pakistan.
If the operator holding your license operates in a jurisdiction with a national responsible gambling scheme (such as GamStop in Great Britain or equivalents in Malta, Gibraltar or Isle of Man), those schemes may also offer multi-operator self-exclusion tools you can register with.
Talking to Someone You Trust
Sometimes the most powerful first step is telling someone you trust — a family member, friend or colleague — that gambling has become a concern. In Pakistan's close-knit family culture, particularly across cities like Lahore, Rawalpindi and Multan, community support networks can play a meaningful role in recovery alongside formal services.
Financial Counselling
If gambling has created financial difficulties, speaking with a financial counsellor can help you understand your options — including debt management and budgeting support. Various non-profit financial counselling services operate in major Pakistani cities including Karachi, Islamabad and Lahore.
